My New Baby Girl...

Last week i adopted another little girl... Her name is Tillie; a 5yr old Maltese Terrier. (I didn't name her either lol)

Millie has a little playmate & they just get along really well... Millie is a Maltese X & is 4yrs old... we've had Millie since she was 6 weeks old.

Kaisercraft Cuckoo Clock

I've been busy doing the Kaisercraft Cuckoo Clock. I've painted it with Olive Kaiser paint & covered it with "We Are Memory Keepers" - "Vintage Blue" papers.... and an assortment of flowers.
Also have popped a little Magnolia stamped image looking through the window....

No Car....sigh

While still with out my car, I've been busy starting to make my Christmas Cards.... Here's an example of what I've put together...
I've used Websters Pages paper & the red gingham paper is good old Creative Memories ....
The lovely flowers i got from d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au
Tilda's hat & apron has been covered in Glossy Accents & the white part on her hat has been made to look fluffy with 3D kindy glitz puff white.

Sketch Inspiration Sketch Callenge #140

Thought i would share with you my sketch i did for Sketch Inspiration. Every Sunday a new sketch challenge is posted & this was my first one.
The paper i used was Prima's new Jack & Jill collection.

NOT my year!!!!

Sigh.... where do i start.... I had my operation on the 7th May, while my stay in hospital my mum was driving back from Melbourne to Geelong & the water pump blew. So that was one drama, then when i got home 3 weeks later, my neighbour drove my car to take me to the shops & my radiator blew.... So still recovering from my pelvis op & going back & forth to doctor appointment, hydro & physio; i was driving my car on Monday & my car decided to blow a head gasket.... when will all end!!!! what a nightmare of a year...
Next year i turn the big 40, i was told last year by a fortune teller that when i turn 40 something great will happen...sigh... PLEASE be good to me lol

So, im stuck home again .... scrapping....lol....

The other week, i went to the Kaisercraft crop day & thought i would share with you what i spent my time doing...

Friday Sketchers Challenge...

Thought i would get adventurous & try another blog challenge....I came across Friday Sketchers and tired their challenge... I was happily scrapping with a Friend until 2am, but then i stayed up till 3.30am as i was on a roll colouring my Magnolia Tilda Stamp....

Card Patterns Sketch 77 Challenge....

This week has been freezing, so its been the perfect time to do another challenge from Card Patterns. http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/
This week i used Websters Pages paper, Magnolia Tilda Blowing bubbles & embossed some vellum to look like bubbles...On her wings I've used Glossy Accents & blue glitter. And also used GA on the bubbles too.

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

It's been 15 weeks since my op. & still have been busy scrapping & card making away while recovering... I'm still on crutches & taking pain killers...

I've been trying to use my scrap pile, but i always seem to go & buy new papers.... my favourites at the moment are Websters Pages, Prima & Kaisercraft

I got inspired by this Easel Swing Card on a blog i was visiting & I'm kicking myself as i cant remember the blog... lol

I tried to get my mojo back into Layouts again since i haven't done a LO in months.... I thought this was ok for born again scrapper ... lol

Card Patterns Sketch 76 Challenge

Today’s card is based on Sketch 76 from Card Patterns.
I've only played along with a blog challenge once before - I'm all new to to this, so here's my challenge for Card Patterns. I love my Kaiser craft- "Gypsy's Sister's" papers.

Card Challenge...

Lately i have been blogging & came across Dutch Dare Card Challenges. I thought i would give this card idea a go. The "Your So Special" card slides inside the Criss cross card as the sentiments insert... I've used Kaisercraft "Gypsy's Sister" Range.

I've always wanted to make an Explosion Box & got my inspiration from Tracy from "Scrapbooking Allsorts".
I've used Kaisercraft papers- Gypsy's Sister range; which i absolutely love!
