Ribbon Maker...

I came across this idea of this style of a Ribbon Maker on a blog one day, emailed it to my wonderful friend, then we went out to get the wood to make it & her generous hubby had drilled the holes & cut the wood to put it together.
On my w'end away i had started to decorate it... I'm very happy with my design... I've used the new Webster's Pages paper.... The butterflies are from a serviette. I've used Modge Podge to seal it as well.

Weekend Away

On the w'end myself & 2 other friends had a scrapbooking w'end away.... Here are just a few things i made..
This is an Easel card made with Kaisercraft papers & a Lili of the Valley stamp - which i just LOVE...

This is my layout which I've done with the same Kaisercraft papers.... The green flower i made myself. I haven't found the perfect photo's for this page yet...

Theme – Distressed or Vintage

I have decided to use the new kaisercraft "Chapter One" collection for my card... Also I have distressed the edges & used distress ink over the top. My gorgeous Sugar Nellie digi stamp i have used is "Grace", just so lovely & one of my favourites. I have coloured her in with Copic markers -I'm not an expert at these...
Other Materials used:
The butterfly stamp came with a copy of the latest "Craft Stamper" magazine, sentiment is a "Stampin' Up" stamp, ribbon from "Maya Rd", Pearls from Kaisercraft.

Another new card.....

Here i have used the new Kasiercraft paper (from the paper pad) "Chapter One" Collection, with a Hero Arts stamp.
I've used Distress inks for the background & some Mica powders for some highlights.

My New Stamp...

I've been wanting a "Lili of the Valley" stamp for ages & finally got one. So here are a few cards i made during the week....
This card i have coloured in with pencils, the bottom card i have coloured with Copics. I'm still learning to colour with Copics. ( but i think i did ok)

W'end Pleasures....

This w'end i was busily making cards, i saw these cards in a recent copy of Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercrafts... So i thought i would have a go... I couldn't get hold of the chickadee rubon's in Geelong - of course!!! So my mum had gotten them in Brisbane for me...
